Ryan Bayer passed away on January 8, 2020, after a three-year battle with brain cancer. Ryan had great fortitude and faith that carried him through his entire life, but especially during his battle with cancer.
Ryan was engaged in farming near Howells, NE where he lived with his wife, Jamie, and children RJ, Jestin, Jade, and Reagan. In 2009, he became a partner at Summit Ag Insurance in West Point, NE. At Summit Ag, he pioneered new approaches to crop insurance that led the company to grow with a focus from a farmer's approach. Ryan was a great leader, mentor, and friend to those he worked alongside and will be greatly missed.
